Twenty starter homes were built in the center of Spijkenisse. The city farm about studios, 2-bedroom apartments and maisonettes.
The city farm is one of the oldest buildings on the edge of downtown. The huge barn housed a home furnishing business for many years and later housed the food bank on a temporary basis. The old residence completely renovated. The distinctive barn was demolished and rebuilt in the same form as the former barn.
The project has been a great success from its inception. Before the first pole was driven, 17 of the 20 homes had already been sold. By now, all the homes have been sold.
